Thermal Springs of Lagadas
In the valley of Mygdonia, in an oasis of greenery of 100 acres and just 2 km east of the city of Lagadas, are the homonymous thermal baths. Hot water and hydrotherapy facilities have been associated with the care of human health for 1100 years. It is no coincidence that Lake Koronia, or Lake Lagadas, took its name from the mother of Asclepius, god of Medicine and Health. The outdoor areas are landscaped with greenery, trees, ornamental shrubs and lawns. The spring water is at the ideal temperature of 39.2 ° C which makes it one of the most suitable for both bath therapy and for drinking.
