Sound of Nature Interpretation Trail

The route offers an experience that combines some elements of popular technique with those of land art. A sieve mill, a lime kiln and a watering can (wooden washing system, operated by water), located for over 100 years on the outskirts of Peştera village, are part of the villagers' cultural heritage. The three technical installations were saved from destruction, 5 years ago, by Geopark volunteers, in a summer camp. They are joined by several installations that help visitors discover information about the structure and sound of stones, wood, water and forest. The entire route of the trail is designed as a unique auditory, visual and tactile show sprinkled with information about the locals.
